A little out of my norm, but I like the way it turned out. The highlights are overblown, but the setting was extremely difficult and this was about the best I could get. I'll try and fix the overblown highlights in photoshop later, but this is good for the time being.
I hadn't gotten to my artistic comments yet, it's been a long day.
I'm doing some shots for Cheryl Ann tomorrow night of her baby in the oven pics.
Then Tuesday night doing some more of Mindy.
Digital acts like slide films, anything over exposed will be in the white range. It's best to under expose slides/digital and over expose reversal (negative) pring film.
A100? Use a flash. Aim that flash to the wall (on your left). Deffuse and soften the light...layers of tissue can work. Use the flash on 'manual' and reduce the power all the way. Increase the power untill you get the right look.
Purpose: raise up the light level on the darken areas. This way, you don't have to try to pull out details in the overexposed areas.
goodluck.
I hope you can revisit this theme with better lighting.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Have a great time everyone and please fav this article so as many people can see the featured works. I would recommend seeing each one and faving them too.
